Abstract:The wear status of bearing housing (chamber) in use is introduced, and the wear causes are analyzed. The bearing seat (chamber) wear problem is effectively solved by using polymer composite material technology.

1. Definition and classification of bearing seat
Where there is a bearing, there must be a support point, the inner support point of the bearing is the shaft, and the outer support is the often said bearing seat. Since a bearing can choose different bearing seats, and a bearing seat can choose different types of bearings at the same time, there are many varieties of bearing seats. For different applications of standard bearing housing, bearing housing of different materials can be selected such as: gray cast iron, ductile iron and special bearing housing of cast steel, stainless steel and plastic. According to the shape of the bearing housing to divide, the most common bearing housing is mainly integrated bearing housing and split bearing housing two categories.
2. Problems existing in the operation of the bearing seat
Bearing seat production enterprises important production equipment, its production operation, bearing chamber often appear wear phenomenon. The traditional method generally adopts machining after surfacing welding to repair, and surfacing welding will make the surface of the component reach a very high temperature, generate thermal stress, cause deformation or crack of the component, and obtain the size through machining, which will greatly prolong the downtime, during which there will be high transportation and disassembly costs. The process of on-line brush plating has certain requirements for thickness, which can not fully achieve the repair effect. Methods such as pitting can only be used as a temporary emergency treatment method, and can not be used as a long-term effective treatment process.
Reason analysis:
1. Due to insufficient lubrication, resulting in increased temperature, resulting in bearing chamber wear.
2. When installing bearings, factors such as not being installed in accordance with regulations or not being repaired in a timely manner lead to bearing wear.
3. Although the metal has good hardness, it has poor impact resistance, can not be recovered after deformation, poor fatigue resistance, and long-term operation of the equipment is easy to cause deformation and wear of the bearing room.
4. There are defects in the bearing itself, and the phenomenon of overheating or even locking the bearing during operation leads to the wear of the bearing chamber.
3. Polymer material repair technology analysis
The polymer composite material is used for on-site repair, which has no thermal effect, and the repair thickness is not limited. The product has the concession that metal materials do not have, ensuring the contact coordination of the repair part 100%, reducing the impact and vibration of the equipment, and avoiding the possibility of wear. On the basis of ensuring the repair accuracy and meeting the installation requirements, there is no need to disassemble the equipment in large quantities, and the repair cycle is short, generally 8-12 hours to complete the repair and installation work. It can greatly shorten the downtime, reduce labor costs, and can be repaired on site to avoid machining. While the traditional repair process can not carry out fast and effective online repair, the emergence of polymer repair materials to a large extent to help enterprises solve a series of problems of bearing seat wear repair.
4. Fushi blue polymer material repair process
1) Surface treatment: baking oil, use gas welding gun for surface baking oil, use sandpaper to polish the surface, and clean it with anhydrous ethanol;
2) Blending composite materials, strictly according to 2:1 (volume ratio) ratio to blend 2211F polymer composite materials to no color difference;
3) Apply the material evenly to the worn surface, then use the vernier caliper to scrape out the repair size along the oil groove or the base level of the stop, and leave the oil hole (the oil hole can be blocked by wood chips). Wait for the material to cure (24℃/24h material rises by 11℃ curing time is reduced by half);
4) After material curing, remove excess material. Use sandpaper to polish the surface and remove the glaze;
5) The surface of the bearing outer ring is thinly coated with 803 release agent, the thinner the better, and let dry;
6) Mix the material twice and apply the material thinly on the repaired surface, leaving the oil hole, and install the bearing directly in place within an hour.
