In addition to the objective existence of axial load combined with sliding friction factors between bearing inner ring end face and shaft shoulder, the hardness of shaft shoulder was tested on site. The measured shore hardness was hsd40-45, while the bearing hardness was hsd78-83. In addition, there was no side oil groove on the bearing inner ring end face and no side oil groove on the shoulder end face, which caused the contact surface to be in the state of poor oil or oil shortage when the bearing was running at high speed It will aggravate the sliding friction between the inner ring end face and the shaft shoulder,

 

1、 To improve the lubrication condition of the end contact part of the bearing in the running state, add side oil grooves at the end face of the bearing inner ring, and control the number of oil grooves in 8-12, so as to ensure that the strength and lubrication uniformity of the inner ring can be taken into account.

2、 Improve the hardness of the shoulder, the current hardness value is hsd40-45, negotiate with the roller supplier, adjust the hardness to hsd55-65 range, and improve the wear resistance of the end face.

 

3、When the hardness of the shoulder cannot be increased to hsd55-65 due to the comprehensive factors such as process and cost, the movable shoulder can be added. As shown in the figure below, the shoulder which is connected with the roller as a whole is changed into a component shoulder, that is, starting from the shoulder end face, extending inward by 40-50 mm to make a separate distance ring, which is installed on the roller neck and end face in the way of interference hot fitting Open arc oil groove, arc groove for heat treatment, hardness adjusted to the ideal range of hardness, the separated distance ring can effectively slow down the friction; it can also carry out spare parts with low cost; it is convenient for installation and replacement; it can better ensure the safe operation of bearing.

Pay attention to the oil groove on the end face of the bearing and avoid opening an oil groove on the end face of the bearing.

 

Fourth, to ensure the safety and reliability of the sealing device on the side of the roller body, in addition to installing the necessary skeleton oil seal matching with the outer diameter surface of the roll neck, it is necessary to install a water seal device matching with the end face of the roller body, so as to prevent the external cooling rolling fluid and particles from invading the contact area between the bearing end face and the shoulder end face.
